CHICAGO, January 28, 2022 – Chicago trial lawyer Todd A. Smith, a founding partner with Brian LaCien of Smith LaCien LLP, has been named by Super Lawyers as one of the “Top 10” Illinois Super Lawyer in the State of Illinois. The state has nearly 95,000 attorneys.
Smith has been on the Illinois Super Lawyers list since its inception in 2005 and regularly ranked in the Top 10. Super Lawyers evaluates lawyers in each state, using criteria such as peer nominations, independent research and peer evaluations by Illinois lawyers. Eligible nominees from more than 70 practice areas are considered.
A past president of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), Smith currently serves as chair of the AAJ’s Endowment Fund and is a board member of the organization’s Center for Constitutional Litigation. He is also a past president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He has served in a leadership capacity for numerous other national, regional and local lawyer organizations.
